Plain English, no legal jargon—exactly how I'd explain it to a client. Here's what data this website handles, why, and what your rights are.

The contact form. When you send a message through my contact form, you provide your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, company name, budget range and project details. The form is delivered by Formspree, a form-handling service, which passes your message to my email. I use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss your project. I never sell it or share it for marketing.
The chatbot. The chat widget in the corner of the site is provided by Chatbase. It sets an anonymous identifier cookie so a conversation can be remembered during your visit, and anything you type in the chat is processed by Chatbase to generate answers. Don't type sensitive personal information into the chatbot—use the contact form or email instead.
Booking a call. If you book a discovery call, scheduling is handled by Calendly on their website, under their own privacy policy.
Embedded videos. Some pages or blog posts may include embedded YouTube videos. When you play one, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect viewing data under Google's privacy policy. Where possible I use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which delays this until you actually press play.
Server logs. Like virtually every website, my hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. These are routine, kept briefly, and not used to identify or profile visitors.

That's it. This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no tracking or analytics scripts of its own. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings—the site will work fine without them, though the chatbot may not remember your conversation.
Contact form messages stay in my email for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any project that follows. If you never become a client, I'll delete your details on request or during periodic clear-outs.
